Janine Schranz and Daniela Zeilinger subtly question the basic conditions of the medium of photography. At Kunstraum SUPER, they are exhibiting pieces from their latest collaboration: new glass works and photograms.

Just like glass, photography undergoes a thermal and temporal transformation during the creative process. The compositions are further abstracted, color fields dissolve, and the image returns to drawing. At all stages of the work, representational conventions such as the central perspective view are deliberately broken down. Softness emerges as a defining quality. In varying degrees of density, notions of mass and emptiness become flexible — space exists somewhere in between.
